We woke up to another wonderful morning. We have been SO blessed to have great weather the entire the entire time. The few times it has rained, it hasn't been much of a hindrance to our activities.
We went to Stonehenge first today. It is the most incredible thing I've seen! The fact that some of the stone comes from so far away makes the structure all the more amazing. We got there early enough in the day to get some fantastic pictures. By the time we left, the lines were long and it was becoming really crowded.
The coach then headed for Salisbury. On the way, the delegates sang "Happy Birthday" to me. It was so sweet.
We had a pleasant surprise at the Salisbury Cathedral. Apparently there is an important conference going on there with many bishops and archbishops in attendance. Many of them were outside when we arrived, and we met Katharine Jefferts Schori, head of the Episcopalian Church in America. She was very gracious in talking with our delegates and even took a group picture with them.
After lunch we drove to Winchester to tour the Great Hall of the Winchester Castle. Mounted on the wall of the hall is the Round Table of King Arthur. There are also iron gates that was fashioned for Charles and Diana's wedding.
It's hard to believe that our adventures are coming to an end. Tomorrow morning we'll board the coach and head for the airport.
Tonight we had a thank you party for Esme. She has been a great delegation leader!
Don't forget...we'll meet you in the luggage claim area of the airport. You'll have two forms to sign, and we'll have an envelope for you.
Tomorrow: back to Gatwick.

I'm so envious of you seeing Stonehenge. Once in a lifetime!!! I could do without the night in tents.
Have a safe trip home.
